If server computer is also a client computer (you run CGS Labs SW on same computer where Network license is established), then you should not perform client activation.
Open client License Manager (from CGS Labs ribbon on CAD platform). Do not install License Manager as standalone installation, it is for server only.
STEP 1:
Open client License Manager. Click on tab Client network lic.
Enter the server (where the network license is installed) name (or IP) and click Create lic.
If the license was successfully activated, you get this message.
In case of unsuccessful activation, please check the Troubleshooting tips. If the tips don’t solve your problem, collect warning/error messages and contact your dealer or CGS Labs support.
STEP 2:
License file
After successful activation, the license file is created in the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\CGSARLM.
The license file holds only the connection string to the server with the network license.
