License management/administration for network licenses is performed through the RLM application, which can be reached in a web browser. URL to access it from anywhere in the network: http://testserver2019:5056/home.asp, where testserver2019 is the server name in this example. On the server, you can access it also through localhost: http://localhost:5056/home.asp
Here is a short overlook of the few most important features.
Status
Here you can overview the status of licenses on the network server.
- Under license files you should see 2 lic files (CGS.lic and serial.lic)
- Check port number (by default it should be 5055, as is defined in lic files, and added to firewall rules)
- Check ISV port number (by default it should be 51517, and it is added to firewall rules)
Reread/restart ISV
After all the changes, it is best to reread/restart ISV.
License usage
Here you can check which client is using network licenses.
Diagnostics
You can run the diagnostics, which is reported to file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\CGSARLM\rlmdiag.txt
You have full diagnostics in this file, which can be very helpful for troubleshooting. Especially if the Firewall blocks the server-client communication, the port for communication has to be added to firewall rules.
