AirTOP Cm dongle is not recognized by CodeMeter Control Center on MacOS

1. Plug it into a Windows machine where it’s recognized.
2. Open CodeMeter Control Center. You can download here: https://www.wibu.com/support/user/user-software.html

3. Click Update the Firmware and wait for it to finish.

   
    

Switch to HID Communication Mode. (Refer to screenshot)
On a Windows machine:

1. Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\
2. Open Command Prompt.
3. Run: .\cmu32.exe --serial 3-XXXXXXX --set-config-disk HidCommunication
   3-XXXXXXX should be replaced by your dongle number

This changes how the dongle communicates with the OS and may help macOS recognize it properly.
 

 
Try a different USB port or hub: Sometimes macOS has trouble with certain USB ports or hubs. 

• Plugging directly into the Mac (not through a hub).
• Using a different USB port.
