AutoTURN Feature (Adaptive Simulation) - Why am I unable to enter speeds when using the Adaptive Simulation tool?

In the Adaptive Simulation tool, the vehicle follows the specified geometry at a very low speed (1 mph) and with the turn wheels from stop option on, because otherwise, the pre-drawn trajectory will need to account for the transition portion of the path required for the wheels (at a given speed) to get to the steering angle needed for the turn. For instance, in a path that comprises of a tangent, an arc and another tangent, the steering changes instantaneously from one section to another with Adaptive Simulations, whereas with the SmartPath tool, the steering gradually changes from one trajectory to another depending on the vehicle's speed.
