The Migration Wizard maps records from the 2011 to the 2024 specification.
A few records cannot be migrated and the Migration Wizard separates them for further investigation. This is when a record has:
- A reference that would duplicate unique references, which cannot be allowed
Rejected records \ Duplicates
- No geographical content: no recorded police force or local authority district, and blank or meaningless grid coordinates
Migration \ Unprocessable
- Corrupted data
Migration \ Failed Migrations – should be sent to support
The Migration Wizard will isolate these according to the method used (Create New or Upgrade in Place) and the type of data problem.
