KeyACCIDENT Data - Opening an unencrypted KAML file

KeyACCIDENT KAML files are encrypted as default. They are decrypted automatically at import.

Currently, KAML files produced by other software providers will open with Notepad, Notepad++, etc. as a single step.

Unencrypted KAML files produced by KeyACCIDENT are compressed and need a few steps to open them to be readable. They are not legible if you try to open them conventionally, as below:

To open an unencrypted KAML file:

1. Rename the file extension from .kaml to .zip

2. Click Yes in the warning message

3. Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All

4. Choose where to save the extract

5. Now you can open the file with Notepad, Notepad++, etc.
