Issue
I have no way of viewing Legacy Contributory Factors (CFs) for analysis.
Solution(s)
- To see totals for each Legacy Contributory Factor (total of the number of times that factor appears, not number of collisions), you can:
a) Perform a search on the years of collisions you want to see the CF totals for (e.g. collisions between 01/01/2024 to 31/12/2024)
b) Export the result as a KAML file
c) Import this file into an empty database
d) Begin a search in this database
e) In the Search Conditions, select the Legacy Contributory Factor (this should be near the bottom of the list) so that it is highlighted
f) Select Quick Browse to view the Legacy Contributory Factors with their totals
g) Double click on the Count heading to view the factors with the highest counts at the top of the list
- If you need to be able to search for collisions with certain Legacy Contributory Factors, you can:
a) Start a search and add the Legacy Contributory Factors of your choice. Click Do Search
b) Click Export and select the format as Excel (XLSX)
c) Choose your save location and document name by clicking the three dots
d) Tick/untick the Fields to exclude boxes as necessary
e) Click Excel Formatting and select Reference number (and any other fields you require)
f) Choose the relevant Output Options
g) Click Accept and then click Export Collisions
