CGS Labs now gives users more flexibility with axis settings. Alongside standard sample lines, users can turn on automatic correspondent sample lines when working with multiple alignments or intersecting paths. This means users can set all sample lines to be correspondent type automatically, without needing to change them manually. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to adjust these settings to match your preferences.

Changing Correspondent Type

If the user prefers the correspondent sample lines type by default, they have the option to enable it in the settings.

This can be done in the Axis settings, located at the beginning of the "Layout" ribbon. (command 21A31). These settings should be configured before starting to draw the sample lines.

Upon executing the command, the "CGS Labs Parameters" dialog box will open. On the left side, select "Cross axes" and then find ID 202028 (Type of new sample lines) in the list. In parentheses, you will see that 0 is for basic sample lines and 1 is for correspondent.

Changing Type When Sample Lines Are Already in the Drawing

If you have automatic correspondence lines set by default but later want to change them to regular sample lines, you can do so using the "Convert Sample Lines Type" command.
