Autosign Libraries - Library manager

Autosign brings the possibility to enable the user to work with multiple traffic signs and road markings libraries. The Library Manager command is an assistant command that helps to manage the libraries that have been installed in your computer. The initial Autosign installation simply comes with a DEMO library, however you are able to search and download any library from our list of standards-based international libraries, as well as to import your own blocks into Autosign and use them with the same features as default signs.

  1. Open Library manager with Library manager icon.

  1. To download libraries, click on Libraries Downloading.

  1. Select libraries you want to download and click Install.

  1. When downloading is finished, click Close.
  2. If you open Library manager once again, you can see the list of available libraries.

ROAD MARKINGS

  1. After pressing this button, the Road Markings selection dialog opens.

  1. Select an appropriate library that is being used when running the commands “Longitudinal markings” And “Cross markings”.
  2. The drop-down menu will display as many options as downloaded libraries you have installed on your computer.

Manual adding traffic signs and road markings to Autosing library

If you have restricted access to internet so our software can not download/access  our online libraries of traffic signs you probably need to set this on your server.

Allow access to the URL https://partners.cgs-labs.com/res/content/autosign/ (or *.cgs-labs.com).

If this is not possible you can still manually install your country traffic signs and road markings.

Contact support@cgs-labs.com and ask us for specific Autosign Library that you want/need. Example of adding German signaling package below;

You should then perform the following steps:

  1. Unzip the *ZIP file
  2. Copy the following 5 files on the user's computer to the following folder (type %appdata% after C:\ and continue from there); C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\CGSA\YOUR VERSION\SYMBOLS
  3.  Copy the following 2 files and one folder (Tr_RoadMarkings) on the user's computer to the following folder  C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\CGSA\YOUR VERSION

When you restart Autosign, the your country traffic sign catalog should be available in the Library Manager. The setting for the road markings still needs to be made here (picture below);
