CGS Labs 2026.1 version on BricsCAD v26 platform needs .NET 8.0 version installed. Without it, users can experience crash on startup or certain CGS Labs functions not working.
Download the .NET 8.0:
- direct link (OneDrive): .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.22
- or from official Microsoft page Download .NET 8.0 (Linux, macOS, and Windows) | .NET
Close all your CAD windows and install the downloaded binaries. Admin privileges might be needed to install it. If you have insufficient privileges, please consult your IT to help you with this installation.
If needed, restart the computer after the installation is finished.
After the installation, CGS Labs 2026.1 on BricsCAD v26 should work without problems.
Additional for BricsCAD v26.1.08 or later:
If you use this version of BricsCAD (or newer) and experience CGS Labs SW crash at startup, please follow these steps:
- close all CGS Labs SW (or BricsCAD SW)
- download the json file (OneDrive): cgsa_interface.runtimeconfig.json
- copy it to C:\Program Files\CGSA\CGSA 2026\COMMON\BRICSCAD v26
- run CGS Labs SW
