KeyACCIDENT Plotting: View Selected Collisions

Issue

When I try to view a selected collision, I get a message that the collision cannot be found in the current database, but it is definitely there.

Solution

This is a known issue that will need be fixed in a future release.

For now, there are 4 possible workarounds:

1.    (the simplest) If you want to view several records, pick them all at once and use View Selected Records
Navigate between the records using the Next and Previous buttons
If you want to view only one record, pick that first, then pick any other, then use View Selected Records

2.    Use Find Record and manually type the reference
That will open the Collision Information window for that single record

Note: the top icon in the GIS dropdown menus are interactive. If a different icon is picked to the one displayed, the top icon changes. You don't need to select it from the dropdown next time. Just click on the top icon. This resets between KeyACCIDENT sessions.

3.    If there aren't many records in your search, you could use View All Records. This opens all searched records in the Collision Viewer. You can use the Previous and Next buttons to move between them, as in option 1.

4.    If you just need to read the text description (How the Collision Occurred), hover the cursor over a symbol and you will be able to read the description.
Ignore the few random characters at the end of the description.
