Transoft Software General - Reset 2nd Stage Install

Issue

AutoCAD Profile has corrupted and will not load so therefore has to be recreated

Solution

  1. Browse to C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Roaming\Autodesk.
  2. Rename the folder with the correct version number (i.e. if you're using AutoCAD 2019, rename R23.0)
  3. Go to File > Run, type in Regedit and press enter to bring up the Registry Editor window.
  4. From here, browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\Version Number\profile folder and rename this folder adding "OLD" to the end as shown below.

5. After this, if you rerun AutoCAD, the profile will recreate and the software should load correctly.
