How do I update my AirTOP license file using CodeMeter Control Center?

You will need to follow the manual update procedure, which consists of two steps:

  1. Creating a license request
  2. Importing the updated license file

Create a context file

  1. Start the CodeMeter Control Center on the machine where the dongle is connected/located.
    • On Windows, CodeMeter Control Center can be found in the Start Menu -> CodeMeter folder or in your system tray, notification area
    • On Mac, CodeMeter Control Center is in the "Applications" folder
  1. Click on the License Update button:
  2. Select Create license request, then click Next
  3. Select Extend existing license, then click Next
  4. Ensure producer is Airtopsoft (102226), then click Next
  5. Choose a location to save the context file, and then click Commit
NOTE: There is no need to rename the file.
  6. Send the .WibuCmRac file to support@transoftsolutions.com

Import the updated dongle file

Once you have received the updated dongle license file from Transoft Solutions support, you will need to import it to the dongle.

  1. Start the CodeMeter Control Center on the server/machine to which the USB dongle is connected
    • On Windows, CodeMeter Control Center can be found in the Start Menu | CodeMeter folder or in your system tray, notification area.
    • On Mac, CodeMeter Control Center is in the "Applications" folder
  1. Click on the License Update button
  2. Select Import license update, then click Next
  3. Select the license update file that was sent to you (file ending with .WibuCmRaU)
  4. Click Commit.
  5. At this point, the dongle file is updated. Now you need to apply the license file to the AirTOP directory.
  6. Locate the airtop_license.lic file from the .zip folder provided by Transoft Support and copy it to your AirTOP release directory located on the user's computer.
  7. To verify the dongle expiry date, start the AirTOP by double-clicking on the AirTOP.bat file in the release folder.

The License Manager is accessible via the Help menu > Manage AirTOP License:

The License Manager will show a pop-up window with the relevant license information: The AirTOP Release Version Number, dongle serial number linked to the license, dongle expiration date.
