How to Fix Blank 2D Presentation Videos in AviPLAN When Using Civil 3D or AutoCAD

For the 2024 to 2026 product versions, Autodesk has defaulted the graphics affinity to DirectX 12, which is not supported by some older hardware.

To switch the graphics affinity to DirectX 11, please follow these steps:

1. Type the following on the AutoCAD or Civil 3D command line:
   GFXDX12 and press Enter.

2. Change the value to 0 (this sets CAD to use DirectX 11, which is compatible with older graphics cards and systems).

3. Restart CAD and reload AviPLAN. This step is necessary, as the system variable GFXDX12 is only read during application startup.
