Upgrading a Standalone Installation (for product versions 2024 and after)

Before you begin:

  • Make sure that you have Administrator access on the workstation that you are installing to.
  • Make sure the current license is Authorized and that you have a valid MAP 
  • During install, you will not be prompted for your license number or CD Key and authorization will not be required.
  • Please note that our products with version 2024 (or later) are installed side-by-side with the older versions, meaning that older version is not going to be removed when new version is installed, and you can continue using the old version for ongoing projects or uninstall it if it is no longer needed.

Upgrade Instructions:

  1. Download the zipped install file to the workstation where you have the current license Authorized.
  2. Right click on the zip file, select Extract All and extract the file.
  3. Login to the workstation with an account that allows administrator permissions.
  4. Run the Setup.exe file.
  5. Select the Set up a Workstation option and click on Install.
  6. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the upgrade process.
  7. Load a session of the installed product in CAD program.
