Plateia Profile - Define Superelevations

Define superelevations with Calculate Superelevations icon.

Click on the Calculate Superelevations icon.

With the button mceclip0.png  in the dialog box define the area on the alignment where you assign the roadway type. Then select the superelevation type and pivot method.

In the Calculate Superelevation dialog box select the Roadway type. You can choose from:

  • Undivided crowned,
  • Undivided planar,
  • Divided crowned with median,
  • Divided planar with a median.

Select the Pivot method. You can choose from:

  • Center means that the superelevated roadway pivots about the center of the roadway.
  • Lane means that the superelevated roadway pivots about the edge of the roadway lane that can be defined for each side of the roadway.

To define the superelevation`s limits, tick the Maximum and minimum superelevation [%] checkbox, and enter the value. 

The result is the line that describes the road`s superelevation, which is drawn in the SUPERELEVATION rubric.
