Slow SLM Licenses

Issue

Follow the steps below if you are finding the licensing running slow

Solution

  1. Stop the “Sentinel LDK License Manger” Service
    a) To do this you can load a Command prompt and enter the following command:
    b )Net stop hasplms

  2. Make sure any antivirus is (temporarily) turned off.

  3. Check for the file “hasp_.ini” in the following folder:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\

If it exists, edit as in step 5

  1. If there is no file, create a file “hasp_.ini” in the folder:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\

(please make sure that extension .txt is not included on the file name)

  1. Then, edit the file with lines:
               Requestlog = 1
               Errorlog = 1
               broadcastsearch = 0
               Serveraddr = 127.0.0

  2. Re‐start the service (Sentinel LDK License Manager)
    a)To do this you can load a Command prompt and enter the following command:
    b)Net start hasplms
