Before upgrading KeyACCIDENT, upgrade these applications if necessary
- Download the KeyACCIDENT installation file from the Transoft Solutions portal:

The following connections should all be preserved at installation
- License connections
- Database connections
- User settings
- KeyOSC Mapper ribbon within KeyACCIDENT (if used)

Upgrading KeyACCIDENT to latest version
Note: it is necessary to be logged in as an Administrator for the upgrade to complete successfully.
* please note the version number in the screenshots may be different to the version you will be installing

Getting the installation file Go to the My Transoft Solutions portal https://my.transoftsolutions.com/ Find the product you wish to upgrade Download the installation file
Note: KeyACCIDENT Analysis is the combined package for the GIS module (if AutoCAD installed) and Database module |

Step 1 Double-click the installation file to begin |
|
|
Step 2 Follow the instructions within the dialog (version numbers may vary) |

|
Step 3 When you are ready to proceed, click Next |
|
|
Step 4 After reading read and accepting the Software Licence Agreement, select: I accept the terms in the licence agreement The Software Licence Agreement can be printed at this step Click Next |

Step 5 Select the program folder program We strongly recommended that you select this default location: C:\Program Files\ Transoft Solutions\ KeyACCIDENT\ [current version] \
Once the program location has been decided click Next |

Step 6 To install KeyACCIDENT click Install |
|
|
Step 7 KeyACCIDENT will now install This process may take several minutes The screen may change several times |

|
Step 8 KeyACCIDENT is now installed Click Finish |
|
| The following desktop icons will be available |
Database module shortcut GIS module shortcut (one for each installed AutoCAD version) |
All aspects of KeyACCIDENT should now be upgraded to the new version successfully
You may wish to delete desktop shortcuts to the older version
Note: at least one user may still need access to the existing KeyACCIDENT version 7 whilst migrating data to the new STATS19 format
