Please start AutoCAD, type CUI on the command line so that Customize User Interface dialog box is displayed. In the top left section, expand Partial Customization Files, and check if AutoTURN is on the list and if it is marked as Unresolved.
If you have AutoTURN on the list and it is marked as Unresolved, please right click on it and unload it. Click on OK to close the CUI dialog box and then close AutoCAD. Use the AutoTURN desktop shortcut to start it in AutoCAD and confirm that now the AutoTURN toolbar or ribbon is displayed.
Note: If you have a Network licence with a large number of workstations running AutoTURN, and the above mentioned solution is not suitable since it could be time consuming, please note that you can instead try the following workaround:
- Upgrade the workstations to AutoTURN 8.0
- On a workstation, browse to the AutoTURN 8 folder and copy the following files: AutoTURN.cuix AutoTURN.dll
- Paste those files into the AutoTURN 7 folder which should overwrite the existing files
- Start AutoTURN 8 in AutoCAD and confirm that this time you can see the AutoTURN product toolbar or ribbon.
Copying of these two files can be scripted, which would save you time if you need to fix the AutoTURN toolbar/ribbon issue on a large number of workstations.
